 On Saturday February 13th, Quaker Square in Akron was the place to be for the American Heart Association - Akron, 2010 Heart Ball.

This year's Mistress of Ceremonies, Betsy Kling, of WKYC TV-3 was elegant as always and led the festivities of this annual event.

With 400 in attendance celebrating and recognizing the hard work and dedication of this year's honorees and the mission of the American Heart Association, the Heart Ball was filled with excitement and elegance.

Upon entering the celebration, party goers had the luxury of bidding on some great items including fine wines and dinner packages...

sports memorabilia...

and much, much more!

There was even a section dedicated to items children would relish.

Topping off the event was a grand live auction and "Open Your Hearts" program that truly did have everyone opening their hearts. What a blessing. And, what better way to make a difference in this world then by attending the 2010 Heart Ball in Akron. Congratulations to all!
